Delivery, Returns and Size Exchanges
1. Delivery
BernuMode.lv delivers orders within Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and also provides international delivery to other countries.
Delivery within Latvia
Delivery is available to Omniva parcel lockers.
The delivery fee to an Omniva parcel locker in Latvia is €2.42.
After the order has been shipped, the customer receives a notification with delivery information and the code required to collect the parcel.
Delivery to Lithuania and Estonia
Delivery to Lithuania and Estonia is available through the available delivery services and parcel lockers.
The delivery fee starts from €2.42. The exact delivery cost is displayed during checkout and depends on the selected delivery method.
International delivery
BernuMode.lv provides international delivery.
The availability of delivery to a particular country, available delivery methods and the delivery cost can be viewed by the customer during checkout.
The delivery cost is calculated automatically based on the destination country, selected delivery method and other order parameters.
If delivery to the selected country is not available, the corresponding delivery method will not be displayed during checkout.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the customer may be responsible for additional costs associated with importing the goods into the destination country, including customs duties, taxes and other mandatory charges, if such charges are required by the laws of the destination country.
Such charges are not included in the BernuMode.lv delivery fee unless otherwise stated during checkout.
2. Receiving the order
Upon receiving the order, we recommend checking the condition of the packaging.
If the packaging is visibly damaged, we recommend documenting the damage and contacting BernuMode.lv as soon as possible.
3. Returns
In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, without giving a reason.
If an order contains several goods that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts from the date on which the last item is received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify BernuMode.lv of their decision to withdraw from the contract within the applicable period.
After submitting the withdrawal notification, the customer must send the goods back no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal notification was sent.
4. Free returns
BernuMode.lv provides customers with free returns.
When arranging a return, the customer is provided with a free return code.
The free return code must be requested within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order.
When using the return code provided by BernuMode.lv, the return shipping cost for the customer is €0.00.
Free returns are an additional service provided by BernuMode.lv and do not restrict the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal.
5. Returns for international orders
Customers placing international orders may return goods using any delivery method convenient for them to the BernuMode.lv address in Riga, Latvia.

Before sending an international return, the customer must contact BernuMode.lv and provide the order number.
The customer may choose any convenient delivery company to send the return to the address indicated above.
When sending an international return independently, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods are delivered to the specified address.
If BernuMode.lv has provided a special free return code for an international order, the customer may use this option if it is available in the relevant country.
6. Return conditions
The goods must be returned:

with original tags;
-
in the original packaging;
-
without signs of washing;
-
without damage;
-
without signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish the characteristics, properties and functionality of the goods.
Clothing and footwear may be tried on to the extent that would be permitted when checking the goods in a physical store.
The customer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling or use beyond what is necessary to establish their characteristics, properties and functionality.
7. Clothing or footwear size exchange
BernuMode.lv offers customers the possibility to exchange the size of clothing or footwear if the purchased size does not fit.
A size exchange is available if the required size is in stock.
To request a size exchange, the customer must:

Contact BernuMode.lv and provide the order number.

Specify the item and size that needs to be exchanged.

Receive return instructions and a return code.

Send the item back.

After the returned item has been received and inspected, BernuMode.lv will send the customer the requested replacement size.
Size exchange conditions
The item being exchanged must be:

with original tags;
-
in the original packaging;
-
without signs of washing;
-
without damage;
-
without signs of use, except for fitting.
A size exchange is only possible if the requested size is available.
If the required size is not available, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable law.
A size exchange is an additional service provided by BernuMode.lv and does not limit the customer's statutory right to withdraw from the distance contract within the applicable period.
8. Goods that are defective or do not correspond to the order
If the customer receives:
-
goods with a manufacturing defect;
-
damaged goods;
-
a different size or model from the one ordered;
-
goods that do not correspond to the product description or order,
the customer should contact BernuMode.lv.
Please provide the order number and, if possible, photographs of the goods and the identified problem.
If it is confirmed that the goods are defective or that an incorrect item was sent, BernuMode.lv will arrange the return or exchange of the goods and cover the associated costs in accordance with applicable law.
The consumer's statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods apply independently of the 14-day right of withdrawal.
9. Refunds
When the right of withdrawal is lawfully exercised, BernuMode.lv refunds the payments received from the customer, including the cost of standard delivery.
If the customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery method available at checkout, BernuMode.lv refunds the cost of the standard delivery method. Any additional amount paid for the more expensive delivery method is not refundable.
Refunds are made no later than 14 days from the date on which BernuMode.lv receives the customer's notification of withdrawal from the distance contract.
BernuMode.lv may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs earlier.
The refund is made using the same payment method used by the customer for the original purchase, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
10. Partial returns
If the customer returns only part of an order, the original delivery cost will be refunded only where and to the extent required by applicable law.
In the case of a partial return, BernuMode.lv refunds the price of the returned goods provided that the return conditions have been met.
11. Goods for which the right of withdrawal may be restricted
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain categories of goods in cases expressly provided for by law.
Exceptions may include goods made to the customer's individual specifications or personalised for the customer, as well as certain goods which, after the packaging has been opened, cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons.
If a statutory exception to the right of withdrawal applies to a particular product, the relevant information will be provided to the customer before the order is placed.
12. Important information regarding the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is a statutory consumer right.
The BernuMode.lv terms and conditions do not restrict consumer rights provided by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union.
To comply with the 14-day deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the withdrawal notification to BernuMode.lv before the expiry of the applicable period.
The goods must then be sent back no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal notification was sent.
