1. Guarantee and customer rights

All goods purchased from the BernuMode.lv online store must conform to the contract, the product description and the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

If the goods received are defective, damaged or do not correspond to the order, the customer has the right to contact the seller and exercise the remedies provided by law.

2. If the goods are defective

If you receive goods with a manufacturing defect, damaged goods or goods that do not correspond to your order, please contact us:

Your request should preferably include:

• order number;
• product name;
• description of the defect;
• photographs of the goods and the identified defect.

After receiving the complaint, BernuMode.lv will assess the situation and offer a solution in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

Depending on the circumstances, the consumer may have the right to have the defect remedied, receive replacement goods, obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract and receive a refund.

3. Right to withdraw from an online purchase

When purchasing goods online, a consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods without giving a reason.

If an order consists of several goods delivered separately, the 14-day period begins on the date the last item is received.

PTAC confirms that the withdrawal period is 14 days and that the period begins on the calendar day following receipt of the goods. (ptac.gov.lv)

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify BernuMode.lv of their decision within the applicable period.

The customer may use our Withdrawal Form, but its use is not mandatory. The consumer may also send an unequivocal statement of their decision to withdraw, for example by e-mail or another method that provides evidence of the notification. (ptac.gov.lv)

4. IMPORTANT: Free return code

BernuMode.lv provides the option of free returns.

The free return code must be requested within 14 calendar days from the date the order was received.

When the customer uses the free return code provided by BernuMode.lv, the return shipping cost for the customer is €0.00.

Free returns are an additional service provided by BernuMode.lv and do not restrict the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal.

5. Return period

After sending the withdrawal notification, the customer must return or send the goods to the seller within 14 calendar days from the date the withdrawal notification was sent.

The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the expiry of the 14-day period. (ptac.gov.lv)

6. Return conditions for clothing and footwear

The customer has the right to examine the goods to the extent that would be possible in a normal physical store.

Clothing and footwear may be tried on.

For a return, BernuMode.lv requests that the goods:

• have original tags;
• be in the original packaging;
• have no signs of washing;
• have no damage;
• have no signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.

PTAC states that consumers may examine goods to the extent that would be possible in a normal store. If the goods have been used beyond what is necessary for inspection, the consumer may be liable for the resulting reduction in value. (ptac.gov.lv)

7. Clothing or footwear size exchange

BernuMode.lv offers an additional option to exchange the size of clothing or footwear if the purchased size does not fit.

A size exchange is available if the required size is in stock.

To arrange an exchange:

1. Contact BernuMode.lv.
2. Provide the order number.
3. Specify the product and required size.
4. Receive return instructions.
5. Send the product back.
6. After receiving and inspecting the product, BernuMode.lv will send the required size.

The item being exchanged must:

• have original tags;
• be in the original packaging;
• have no signs of washing;
• have no damage;
• have no signs of use, except for fitting.

If the required size is unavailable, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal.

Size exchange is an additional service provided by the store and does not restrict the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal.

8. Refunds

When the consumer lawfully exercises the right of withdrawal, BernuMode.lv refunds all payments received from the customer, including the cost of standard delivery.

If the customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by BernuMode.lv, only the cost of standard delivery will be refunded.

Any additional amount paid for the more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

PTAC confirms this approach to the refund of delivery costs. (ptac.gov.lv)

The refund will be made no later than 14 days from the date BernuMode.lv receives the customer's withdrawal notification.

BernuMode.lv may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or until the customer provides proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs earlier. (ptac.gov.lv)

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

9. International returns

BernuMode.lv provides international delivery.

The availability of delivery to a particular country, available delivery methods and delivery costs are displayed during checkout.

International orders may be returned using any delivery method convenient for the customer to:

Before sending an international return, the customer must contact BernuMode.lv and provide the order number.

If a BernuMode.lv free return code is available for the relevant country and delivery method, the customer may use it.

When sending an international return independently, the customer chooses the carrier.

10. Goods that do not correspond to the order

If the customer receives:

• a different size;
• a different model;
• a different colour;
• a different product;
• damaged goods;
• goods with a manufacturing defect;
• goods that materially differ from their description,

please do not use or repair the goods yourself.

Contact BernuMode.lv and provide the order number.

Photographs of the goods and packaging are recommended.

After reviewing the complaint, the store will offer a solution in accordance with applicable law.

11. Cases where the right of withdrawal may not apply

Under applicable law, certain categories of goods and contracts are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

These may include, for example:

• goods made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
• certain goods which cannot be returned after opening for health protection or hygiene reasons;
• other goods or contracts for which legislation provides an exception.

If a particular product is subject to an exception from the right of withdrawal, the customer will be informed before entering into the contract.

12. How to arrange a return
